2022 by the numbers
We’ve enjoyed another wonderful year at Guardian Exercise Rehabilitation. After returning to a sense of normalcy following the pandemic, we were keen to sink our teeth into new opportunities, challenges…and F2F events 🤝
“I thank each of our brilliant, purposeful team for everything they’ve accomplished this year. Every day I am in awe of their obsession with caring for people.” – Rob Pierce, CEO
We won an award
In partnership with BT, we were thrilled to be recognised at the ALUCA Life Insurance Excellence Awards for our bespoke program, BT Activate – winning the 2022 Customer Service Team Award!

We sponsored two events
We were proud to sponsor the Equally Well Symposium in April 2022, particularly after becoming signatories to this National Mental Health Commission initiative in 2021.
“The Symposium was a fantastic event which encompassed all areas and practitioners within the mental health space. It was great to hear from such an array of speakers and to see what the future of mental health looks like for all walks of life. It’s definitely one to put in the calendar for 2023!” – Carla Petty, Senior Exercise Physiologist – Queensland
Then, in November, we sponsored a portion of the WorkCover WA Conference in Perth. It was fantastic seeing our logo on screen at the legendary Optus Stadium!

We welcomed three new leaders
Growth was a key theme this year, with three stellar leaders joining us in 2022. We were excited to welcome Chief Operations Officer Daniel Meredith and Head of External Relations Joanne Casey in January, followed by our new Chief Executive Officer Rob Pierce in October – thus completing the dream team.
We helped countless Australians to get moving
Between all our amazing clients around the country, and the everyday Australians we reached with our inaugural Chatterbox Challenge in May, it was a privilege to help so many people develop – or rediscover – a love of exercise. With our core purpose being for every individual to have complete confidence and total control over their healthcare, that’s our ‘why’; it’s what drives us to do what we do.
We can’t wait to do it again in 2023, and beyond.
