We’re Launching Physiotherapy in Brisbane
Following the success of our Perth-based Physiotherapy service, we are very excited to announce that we are now expanding this service offering to Queensland!
Launching in Brisbane on Monday the 6th of March, our community-based physio service will initially commence with two specially-recruited Physiotherapists: Nick and Alysha. With close to two decades of combined clinical experience between them, they’re looking forward to working alongside our Queensland Exercise Physiologists to deliver best practice, evidence-based outcomes for our clients and referrers alike.
“I’m passionate about making a difference. I want to meet every person where they are at right now, understand, and then help them get to where they would like to go. I want to impact people’s lives. Dream big, teach as required, learn from everyone, believe, and then ultimately, help people to achieve their goals.” – Nick Bennett, Physiotherapist
“I am passionate about working together with clients to empower them to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. I believe that through using exercise, education, pain management techniques and evidence-based practice, we can work with clients, their support network and other health professionals to provide holistic care.” – Alysha Bishop, Physiotherapist
The benefits of a dual service offering
Two service offerings of Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology ensures ultimate continuity of care for our clients. Referrers can refer to Guardian Exercise Rehabilitation and be safe in the knowledge that their clients will receive the most appropriate treatment required for the stage/complexity of their injury or condition.
Through our tried-and-tested integrated dual service, we’re able to access clients at an earlier stage of recovery – ensuring that they adopt active and empowering rehabilitation strategies to optimise their health outcomes and independence into the long term. With this earlier access and a more seamless continuum of care, we believe this service can assist our clients to return to work, activities of daily living and other meaningful pursuits sooner, providing the best outcomes for all parties involved in the recovery process.
“I am really excited about this evolution to our service offering in Brisbane, which is a key step in not only ensuring that our clients can continue to have confidence and control over their healthcare, but get it quicker, more seamlessly and with even better long-term outcomes!” – Matthew Worland, Area Manager – QLD
Referring to us
Referral pathways will remain the same. Referrers can refer their clients for Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or both; whichever service is requested, we will triage appropriately.
Our commitment to providing quality, evidence-based allied healthcare hasn’t changed – but simplifying the referral process for injured patients, and optimising our service delivery, has.
